Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, CO is seeking a Critical Care Tech to support patients under the supervision of an RN or physician.

You will assist with direct and indirect patient care and coordinate with the healthcare team to meet physical and emotional needs. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and EMT/IV therapy certifications or equivalent, with preferred experience as CRC tech, CNA, or medical assistant in acute care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EMT Certificate and IV Therapy Certificate (or equivalent EMTA/EMTI/Paramedic) required.
• Experience as Critical Care Tech, CNA, or medical assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with RN and Physician regarding patient observations to assist in treatment.
• Performs technical tasks (IV insertion, splinting, wound care) as directed by the RN or physician.
• Provides person-centered care with empathy in collaboration with the care team.
• Documents all tasks and observations accurately in patient records and maintains patient charts.
• Demonstrates clinical strategies to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Collaborates with medicine, nursing and other healthcare professionals on the plan of care.
