St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, CO seeks a Critical Care Tech to support patients under the supervision of an RN or Physician.
The role focuses on timely communication and collaboration with the healthcare team to meet patients' physical and emotional needs. Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks, stocking supplies, documenting care, and performing clinical tasks such as IV insertion and wound care in accordance with hospital policies.
As aCritical Care Tech, you will perform direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with an RN or Physician, playing a vital role in patient support.
Every day, you will be responsible forfacilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team to meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient.Your duties includeplacing orders, receiving and stocking department supplies, and assisting support staff with filing, medical records, and assigned daily tasks.
To be successful in this role, you will possess relevant certifications or experience as a Critical Care Tech, CNA, or medical assistant, ideally in an acute care setting. You will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of empathetically interacting with patients and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
