Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking a highly capable RN for its Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. This full-time position features 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a) with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will care for patients with complex cardiac and medical conditions, performing EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures. Join a unit that supports high-acuity cases like CHF, COPD, DKA and sepsis, with strong teamwork among PCNAs, interns, providers, and therapists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or a program seeking accreditation.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification for the healthcare provider.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BSN is preferred when available.
