Job summary

MetroHealth seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West at the MetroHealth Main Campus, Glick. You will provide direct patient care for high-acuity patients, including CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, in a telemetry-enabled environment.

The role features rotating shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a) with rotating weekends/holidays, bi-weekly hours totaling 72, and a comprehensive benefits package including tuition reimbursement and OPERS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with active Ohio RN license.
• ACLS and BLS are preferred or obtained within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the MetroHealth Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West.
• Interpret EKGs and manage central lines.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT, OT.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
