Job summary

Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital in Indiana is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, 3x12s day shift. The RN provides patient-centered care, coordinates assessments and care plans, administers medications, and collaborates with the care team to achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, documenting findings, and ensuring safety and infection control. BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred; sign-on bonus up to $35,000 and relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN licensure in state or compact state is required.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and the nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings; reports changes to the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects; documents administration.
• Collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and execute individualized care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as appropriate.
• Maintains infection control protocols and ensures patient safety through best practices.
