Qualifications

• 2 years of ICU and/or ED experience at an Academic Medical Center or 5 years of ICU and/or ED experience.
• Current RN license in state of practice is required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

• Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources.

Skills

Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)
