Ascension is hiring in Nashville for a Critical Care Unit RN, night shift, with a sign-on bonus. The role focuses on assessing patients, coordinating care, and preparing for safe discharge. A nursing diploma and active TN RN licensure are required, along with BLS and ACLS or ALS prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Diploma in nursing required.
• BLS provider certification required within 1 month of hire.
• RN license issued by TN Board of Nursing before hire date.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients' physical and emotional needs and deliver timely interventions that support recovery and positive health outcomes.
• Develop and manage individualized care plans, closely tracking patient progress and adjusting care as conditions change.
• Coordinate care across physicians and the broader care team to ensure patients receive seamless, well-organized treatment.
• Communicate patient updates and carry out treatment plans to keep care accurate, timely, and aligned with provider guidance.
• Prepare patients and families for discharge, providing education and coordinating next steps to support a safe transition home or to the next level of care.
