Job summary

Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a highly technical, fast-paced nursing team. You will provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues, and support our mission of patient-centered care.

Night shift 12x3 (1845-0715) with varied days; BSN preferred; Texas license, BLS and ACLS required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months critical care RN experience or completion of ICU Nurse Residency Program.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas; BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and openly with patients, families and the care team.
• Provide direct and indirect nursing care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Direct and supervise other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Adhere to unit standards of care and hospital policies to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Support the mission and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.
