Qualifications

• 0-2 years of nursing experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Active RN license with ACLS and BLS certifications; other area-specific certifications as required.
• Associate’s degree in nursing; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient safety initiatives throughout the procedural process.
• Assesses patients under critical care and conducts screenings using standard scales.
• Documents changes in patient condition and evaluates the effectiveness of care and interventions.
• Utilizes safe medication practices, including the five rights of medication administration and barcode scanning.
• Demonstrates knowledge of medication actions, dosages, indications, and side effects.
• Provides teaching and educational materials to patients and families.
• Documents patient and family understanding of educational materials and instructions.
