Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse to evaluate patients, administer care, recognize complications and coordinate with the critical care team. The role uses advanced nursing skills to care for critically ill patients and to advocate for patients and families, following standards and protocols.

You will work with increasing independence to set care plans, monitor outcomes, document promptly and mentor ancillary staff while maintaining professional nursing standards

• Assesses, identifies, and prioritizes patient and family needs to provide quality care to all patients. Develops, discusses, and communicates plan of care for each patient in collaboration with the care team.
• Safely delivers medications and treatments. Monitors and documents patient responses and upholds all safety policies and protocols including patient identification, risk mitigation ensuring a safe individualized plan of care.
• Performs continuous patient assessment, detects changes in condition, and communicates with appropriate care team members to support prompt clinical decision making.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit to facility meeting goals and objectives.
• Maintains current documentation and required licensure, certifications, required education, and competencies in accordance with unit scope of service and professional standards. Pursues professional growth and development.
