Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS required; RN license in state of employment or compact.
• ACLS certification required; progress toward credentials monitored.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation.
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, social needs of patients and families.

• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given.
• Assesses learning needs and educates patients, families, and caregivers.
