ARMStaffing in Salem, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for MICU on a 13-week contract, with shift from 19:00 to 07:00. You will provide critical care to ICU patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN license, ACLS and BLS, with ICU experience preferred. Certifications such as PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and TNCC are a plus. ARMStaffing supports travel, housing, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Previous ICU experience is preferred.
• PALS, NIH Stroke Scale certification, and TNCC are advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform critical care procedures including EVD placements, central line insertions, and lumbar drains.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their conditions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
