Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking an experienced RN for the Critical Care Unit. You will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process, with emphasis on assessment, planning, and education.

Shifts are 7p–7a with rotating weekends; at least 3 years of Critical Care experience strongly preferred; Texas license and BLS required. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
• Certified in Basic Life Support
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements
• RN I <1 year
• RN II = 1-3 years
• RN III = 3-10 years
• RN IV = 10+ years
• Effective oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physician and healthcare team in delivering patient care using the nursing process.
• Provides professional nursing care, including nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatments, patient education, and maintenance of medical records
