Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks an experienced RN for its care team in Texas. The role collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver nursing care, perform assessments, assist with exams and treatments, educate patients, and maintain medical records.

Hours are 7p-7a with rotating weekends. A Texas nursing license and BLS certification are required; BSN is preferred. Additional unit-specific certifications may be needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
• Certified in Basic Life Support
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements
• RN roles: RN I <1 year; RN II = 1-3 years; RN III = 3-10 years; RN IV = 10+ years

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the physician and healthcare team in the delivery of patient care using the nursing process.
• Provides professional nursing care to patients, including assessments, exams and treatment, patient education, and medical records maintenance.
• Hours: 7p/7a rotating weekends
