University Medical Center of Southern Nevada seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide direct care for acutely ill patients in a high-tech, monitoring-intensive environment. Responsibilities include applying nursing principles to patient care and coordinating therapies and medications.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year of emergency department or ICU experience, a Nevada RN license, and BLS/ACLS at hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and meets Nursing Administration Policies.
• One year of recent emergency department or critical care experience.
• Current RN license by the State Board of Nursing; BLS and ACLS at hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to acutely and critically ill patients.
• Deliver care in a highly technical monitoring environment with extensive medication protocols.
• Apply nursing science to patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
