Qualifications

• RN license issued by Texas State Board of Nursing
• B.S., Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS required prior to patient care
• ACLS required prior to patient care
• NIHSS certification required within 90 days of hire
• Good English communication (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Care for critically ill patients ages 14 to elderly, including medication and IV therapy
• Monitor vital signs and titrate medications safely
• Operate ICU equipment (ventilators, ICP drains, arterial lines, Swan-Ganz, IABP)
• Develop and implement nursing care plans with the health team
