Merit Health in Flowood, MS is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across the nursing process. You will coordinate with physicians and the care team to achieve optimal outcomes in a community hospital setting.

This role requires a current RN license, BCLS, and 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience. ACLS/PALS are preferred. Part-time schedule with night shifts and a focus on safety and compassion.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN license valid and current (State licensure or compact) required
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred
• Strong knowledge of nursing process and patient safety standards

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and the nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings, reporting changes to the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for adverse effects with proper documentation.
• Collaborates with physicians and nurses to develop and implement care plans.
• Responds to emergencies, participates in CPR and code team activities.
• Maintains infection control standards and ensures patient safety throughout care.
• Documents care and education in the medical record promptly and accurately.
• Engages in professional development and quality-improvement initiatives.
