Job summary

Avita Health System in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Critical Care Float Pool. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care across units, and ensuring continuity between shifts while guiding nursing assistants and staff.

Qualifications

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
Current BLS certification.
Current ACLS certification.
Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.

Responsibilities

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit.
Supervises the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff to ensure continuity of care between shifts.
Participates in patient and family teaching and acts as patient advocate.
Maintains alignment with the organization’s mission.
