Covenant Health's Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Unit. The position is full-time, day shift, 72 hours per pay period, and located on site at Fort Sanders Regional.

Qualifications

• Must hold Tennessee State RN licensure.
• Minimum of three (3) years professional nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care within assigned unit and coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
• Correlate patient history and support systems within hospital care.
• Assess patient and family needs and develop/ initiate care plans with patient/family involvement.
• Evaluate plan of care and adjust interventions as needed.
• Lead improvement initiatives within unit and participate in facility team.
• Precept new employees or students and contribute to orientation and education.
• Perform required education and safety activities and participate in quality improvement.
