Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care within the CCU. You will work with medical providers and a care team to apply nursing models and advocate for patients and families while contributing to department performance.

The role emphasizes teaching patients and families, documenting care, and participating in continuous process improvement to enhance outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN with active license or eligibility to practice in South Carolina.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN designation.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by providers and documents care.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, treatment, meds, side effects and follow-up.
• Educates on lifestyle changes and self-management for future health.
• Implements evidence-based practices to meet quality measures and improve care.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and deliver holistic care.
