Concord Hospital provides respiratory therapy and life support to patients from neonates to geriatrics in a safe, therapeutic environment under supervision of leadership in Respiratory Care.

Holders must have an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care, current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers, and meet certification timelines for Neonatal Resuscitation and NBRC registries, with NH licensure required. Sign-on bonus eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care from AMA-approved program.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA) or equivalent.
• Neonatal Resuscitation required within 6 months of hire.
• NBRC registry eligibility; must obtain within 2 years after hire.
• New Hampshire Respiratory Care license required.

Responsabilités

• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments and adapts to changing clinical conditions.
• Administers medication to patients.
• Documents care provided and patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes.
• Involves self in departmental and hospital initiatives.
• Obtains required intubations.
• Manages time and workload fluctuations.
• Acts as a preceptor to staff and students.
• Utilizes hospital and departmental information systems and equipment operations.
• Completes departmental and hospital requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
