Job summary

The role requires at least 1 year of RRT experience, Florida license, NBRC credential, and readiness to obtain ACLS/NRP/PALS within 30 days of start. Nights with rotating weekends,caseload supports critical care teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of RRT experience, preferably in ICU/CVICU or other critical care.
• Current Florida State Respiratory License and NBRC credential (RRT or CRT).
• BLS certification; ACLS, NRP, and PALS must be obtained within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and maintain routine and non-routine respiratory therapies and equipment (oxygen, aerosol therapy, ventilators) per physician orders.
• Perform and interpret ABGs; apply knowledge of medication dosages, effects, and patient responses.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff; conduct patient assessments and reassessments; provide patient instruction.
