Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RRT experience, preferably in ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, or critical care.
• Strong understanding of respiratory therapies and equipment.
• Ability to perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gases.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and maintain respiratory therapies and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff and conduct patient assessments.
• Recognize and report suspected abuse or neglect.

Skills

Effective communication with physicians and clinical staff

Patient assessment and reassessment

Knowledge of medication dosages and side effects

Education

Florida State Respiratory License

NBRC credential — RRT or CRT

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
