Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Beverly Hospital seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care under physician orders across all ages, within licensure and board guidelines. You will work with physicians, nurses and other clinicians to ensure treatments are delivered as ordered.

The role requires an associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, MA license, BLS, strong communication and PC skills; prior critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Massachusetts license: Certified Respiratory Therapist; Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to share clinical information with care teams.
• Experience as a staff respiratory therapist with a focus on critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under physician orders within licensure and scope.
• Works collaboratively with providers, nurses, and other team members.
• Reviews orders and ensures treatments are delivered as prescribed.
• Administers medications via nebulizers and inhalers per orders.
