Job summary

Kindred Hospital Houston Sugarland ARU seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide hospital-level respiratory care, including ventilation management, ABG sampling, and patient assessment. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses and therapists to deliver evidence-based care and education to patients with complex medical needs.

Responsibilities include documentation, equipment management, and participation in rounds and in-services.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Respiratory Therapy license in the appropriate state.
• Must hold NBRC credential maintenance (CMP).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor ventilation and ABG sampling/analysis.
• Document care, ensure charge capture, and manage equipment.
• Provide patient and family education and handoff to care team.
