Wellstar Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II for Night shift at Windy Hill location in the United States. The role focuses on delivering complex respiratory care, ventilator management, and patient assessment in critical care with a strong team approach.

You will educate patients and families, participate in staff development, and collaborate with physicians and the health care team to provide safe, evidence-based care.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program with science coursework
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Licenses/certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS (Instructor)

Responsabilidades

• Medication administration and implementing respiratory care based on evaluate-and-treat process
• Deliver patient care in complex, multi-problem scenarios, in critical care with ventilator management
• Educate patients and families; participate in staff development and education of new employees
• Ventilator management and weaning; ABG sampling and interpretation
• Invasive and non-invasive procedures support; pulmonary diagnostics and cardiac service procedures
• Promote safe, quality care with accurate charting and electronic orders
