Job summary

Wellstar Health System's Windy Hill Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II for PT Nights, 24 hrs/week. The RT II delivers respiratory care and medication administration in a high-acuity setting, primarily in critical care areas with ventilator management and independent decision-making.

You will participate in education for staff and students, support population-specific needs, and ensure safe, quality care in a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate well and think critically in complex patient care situations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Computer skills including familiarity with databases.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication and implements respiratory care per protocol.
• Delivers patient care in complex, multi-problem situations, mainly in critical care.
• Assists with education of patients, families, students, and staff, and with program development.
