ConnectedHealth is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to support hospital-wide cardiopulmonary care. The position involves delivering prescribed respiratory treatments, operating ventilators, and collaborating with the clinical team across shifts.

The role requires current credentials, Wyoming licensure, and BLS. Experience in critical care or emergency services is preferred, with flexible scheduling options available to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (associate degree or higher).
• Current RRT or CRT credential (NBRC).
• Wyoming license or ability to secure licensure before employment.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Prior hospital respiratory care or critical care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients in respiratory distress and pulmonary disorders.
• Deliver physician-prescribed respiratory treatments and therapies.
• Operate and monitor ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and related equipment.
• Perform respiratory assessments and adjust treatment plans within scope.
• Collect ABG specimens and collaborate with the medical team.
• Assist with emergency airway procedures and patient stabilization.
• Administer bronchodilators and oxygen therapy as ordered.
• Provide pulmonary hygiene and airway clearance techniques.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and respond to changes.
• Coordinate with nursing and physicians to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on breathing techniques and respiratory care.
• Complete accurate charting and maintain infection prevention standards.
