Job summary

Qualifications

• Accredited Respiratory Therapy program completion.
• BLS AHA ECARD or equivalent required.
• BLS AHA-RQI ECARD required.
• BLS Grace period credential required.
• BLS Red Cross credential required.
• Florida RT license required or eligible.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist license for FL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates respiratory care policies and procedures based on outcomes, research, and best practices.
• Educates patient and family about illness and community resources.
• Delivers and assesses response to ordered therapy per plan of care.
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient condition.
• Responds to codes and emergent requests.
• Assesses patient condition and delivers appropriate treatment.
