Job summary

Mass General Brigham is hiring respiratory therapists in Boston to provide extensive respiratory care across multiple units, including the ICU and specialized ventilator support. The role demands strong critical thinking, independent work habits, and excellent communication with care teams.

You will administer advanced therapies, supervise patient care plans, and participate in rapid response and trauma team activities, with opportunities for growth and involvement in clinical research.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a ARC-approved respiratory care program with at least an Associate's degree.
• Massachusetts respiratory care license in good standing.
• RRT registered with NBRC preferred; BLS certification required.
• New grads have 6 months to become registered after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of mechanical ventilation including NPPV and HFOV.
• Monitor and manage patients with various artificial airways and critical care needs.
• Work in adult, pediatric and neonatal ICUs, including ECMO cases.
• Assist with bronchoscopy, tracheostomy insertions, and nitric oxide/Heliox therapy.
• Participate in Rapid Response, Code and Trauma teams and research activities.
