Coral West Community Hospital is seeking a licensed Respiratory Therapist to provide routine and specialized respiratory care. You will perform direct patient care, maintain and test equipment, and ensure safety and proper documentation in medical records.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an AMA accredited school.
• Current RRT license from the State of Florida.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current PALS certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient respiratory care and assist with department operations.
• Maintain, prepare and test respiratory equipment for safe operation.
• Deliver respiratory equipment to patient floors in proper working order.
• Follow isolation precautions and other safety procedures.
• Record procedures and patient responses in medical records.
• Collect sputum for laboratory culturing and perform gas analysis as needed.
