Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas. NRP required for NICU.
• 1 year experience required unless AVP level or above.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients with complex needs and high-intensity interventions.
• Monitors and responds to rapidly changing patient conditions using assessments and clinical data.
• Documents care accurately in the patient record and coordinates with the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborates with physicians and nursing leadership to implement patient care plans.
• Prioritizes patient safety and quality of care on a fast-paced unit.
• Prepares and mentors newer staff as a unit educator or preceptor.
