Job summary

Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide advanced patient care in a high-acuity unit. The role involves closely monitoring patients, operating critical equipment, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold an active Florida RN license (or equivalent eNLC) and have at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• 1 year experience required unless AVP level or above approves otherwise.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
• Utilizes information and assessment data to anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment and records cardiac rhythms from monitors and ventilators.
• Communicates and collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team to plan and manage the unit/department.
