Job summary

Pacifica Hospital of the Valley is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide direct care to critically ill patients, conduct assessments, plan and educate, and coordinate with the care team to ensure seamless patient flow.

The ideal candidate has 2 years RN experience with 1 year in critical care, CA RN license, BLS/ACLS, and completion of CC and basic arrhythmia courses plus strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse with one (1) year experience in a critical care or intensive care unit
• Valid CA RN license
• BLS and ACLS required
• Completion of Critical Care and basic arrhythmia courses
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organization skills required
• Basic computers skills - Empower experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or injured patients including assessment, plan of care, education and evaluation
• Coordinate the delivery of care provided by other members of the patient care team
