Job summary

The New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS) seeks a full-time Pulmonary and Critical Care Specialist to join our Specialty Care Line and deliver high-quality care to veterans in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Candidates should be board certified or eligible in Pulmonology and Critical Care, be committed to teaching and research, and obtain a faculty appointment at the University of New Mexico.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved school
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S.
• Residency in a core specialty approved for board eligibility
• Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care

Responsibilities

• Provide pulmonary/critical care services in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Serve as part of the NMVAHCS Specialty Care Line
• Engage in teaching and research activities and pursue a faculty appointment
• Support education and patient care excellence within the university system
