Job summary

Synthires is seeking a board-certified Critical Care Physician for a remote, hourly contract to evaluate AI-generated clinical responses in critical care. You will review de-identified charts and judge the safety and accuracy of AI answers, contributing to alignment with current standards.

This is a fully remote, part-time role with immediate start available. Applicants must hold active U.S. medical licensure and be practicing in the United States; prior independent practice experience is valued.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Critical Care Medicine, ABMS/AOA with ABIM/ABA/ABEM/ABS.
• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• Residency and fellowship training completed.
• Currently practicing and seeing patients in the United States.
• At least one year of independent practice after training.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated critical care responses for clinical accuracy, safety, and adherence to current standards of care.
• Review patient charts and compare two AI-generated responses to determine which is stronger.
• Write structured rationales assessing clinical rigor, completeness, and clarity.

About the Opportunity

A leading AI lab is seeking board-certified critical care physicians to evaluate healthcare AI models. Contractors will review de-identified patient charts and assess AI-generated responses to clinical questions in critical care, helping improve clinical accuracy, patient safety, and alignment with current standards of care.
