Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Critical Care Medicine (ABIM) or PGY-2+ resident/fellow.
• 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training.
• Based in the United States.
• Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.

• Clinical Logic Auditing: Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure alignment with SCCM standards.
• High-Complexity Validation: Provide expert-level ground truth for intricate critical care case presentations, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator management.
• Safety Oversight: Identify clinical inaccuracies or hallucinations in AI outputs that could impact patient safety or triage decisions.
• Strategic Consulting: Advise on the development of AI-driven clinical decision support tools for critical care.

Overview

Labela is seeking U.S.-based Critical Care Physicians (Intensivists) at every career stage, from board-certified attendings and fellows to senior residents (PGY-2 and above), for high-level clinical consulting. You will serve as a subject matter expert to validate, refine, and audit the clinical reasoning of frontier AI models. This is a flexible, remote role designed to let clinicians influence the safety and accuracy of medical AI at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Logic Auditing: Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure alignment with SCCM standards.

• Citizenship: Must be based in the United States.
• Communication: Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.
