Sound Physicians invites you to transform patient care in Las Cruces, NM as an Intensivist. Join Memorial Regional Medical Center’s ICU and collaborate with surgeons and critical care teammates to deliver high-quality care to a 20-bed unit.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Critical Care; US work authorization required.
• Active New Mexico license preferred but not required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to ICU patients (20-bed unit) in collaboration with the cardiothoracic surgeon and Tele-Critical Care.
• Perform all technical skills required in the critical care setting.
• Collaborate with the ICU team and hospital staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Local Team Collaboration:

• Work alongside fellow intensivists and acute care advanced practice providers

Qualifications:

• Physicians must be board-certified or board-eligible in Critical Care medicine. An active New Mexico license is preferred but not required.
• A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting
• Authorized to work in the United States

Scheduling:

• 12-hour on-site day shift; nights covered by in-house APP with tele.
• 15, 12-hour shifts per month, block shift schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care to patients in the 20-bed medical and surgical ICU in conjunction with the CT surgeon for co-management of cardiothoracic surgery patients and Sound's Tele-Critical Care.
• Ability to perform all technical skills in the critical care setting.
• Ability to cite experience working collaboratively within the ICU with all team members and across the hospital.
