Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Critical Care Physician to join our established team of intensivists at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. You will provide care in a high-acuity ICU setting within a 32-bed unit, collaborating with experienced intensivists and APPs to deliver patient-centered care.

The role includes teaching opportunities with family medicine residents, medical students, and APPs, and requires 24/7 in-house ICU coverage with a mix of day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency training in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Anesthesiology.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Critical Care Medicine.
• Current Utah medical license (or ability to obtain one).
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for complex, critically ill patients in a 32-bed adult mixed medical/surgical ICU.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of intensivists and APPs.
• Teach family medicine residents, medical students, and APPs throughout the year.
• Support a 24/7 in-house ICU coverage model with day and night shifts.

Education
