Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, Florida is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team. You will educate and counsel patients, families, and healthcare staff on safe medication use, perform dispensing and monitoring, and participate in patient care rounds across central, satellite, and IV areas.

The role requires a PharmD (or Doctorate preferred), state licensure as RPH, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and at least one year hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist (RPH) required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS required.
• 1+ hospital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate and counsel patients, families, and healthcare team members on safe and effective medication use.
• Perform all pharmacist functions including compounding, dispensing, verification, and documentation of medications across central, satellite, and IV areas.
• Review and monitor medication orders and patient profiles to prevent, identify, and resolve drug-related problems; participate in pharmacokinetic dosing and adjustments.
• Participate in quality improvement, compliance, and accreditation activities; support team learning and development.
