Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. Current Georgia RN licensure and BCLS are required. New graduates are eligible to apply; hospital experience is preferred, with PRN roles common for beginners.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability within the organization’s policies and procedures.
