MMT Ambulance is seeking a Critical Care Paramedic in Sturtevant, WI to join our EMS transport team. You will provide direct patient care, perform life support within CCP scope, and ensure safe operation of ambulances in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications include EMT experience, a current Paramedic license with CCP-C certification, CPR, and a valid driver’s license. The role emphasizes clinical judgment, teamwork, and professional conduct in challenging environments.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Previous EMT experience.
• Current Paramedic license and CCP-C certification/licensure (state specific).
• If state has no mandatory CCP-Transport requirements, national CCP-C certification required.
• Current CPR.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong clinical knowledge and decision‑making skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal skills and emotional stability.

Responsibilities

• Administer life support treatments within the Critical Care Paramedic scope.
• Operate and maintain emergency vehicles per regulations.
• Deliver competent patient care during transport.
• Apply EMS procedures in practical situations.
• Interact professionally with healthcare personnel.
• Document information accurately in charting system.
• Assist fellow EMS providers and provide reports.
• Maintain equipment, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness.
• Adhere to policies and protocols.
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior.
• Communicate clearly with Dispatch Center.
• May need to administer first aid to injured coworkers.
