Job summary

MMT Ambulance in Omaha, NE is seeking a Critical Care Paramedic to join the primary care team during ambulance transports. You will provide direct patient care, perform equipment checks, and assist with station duties while delivering life support within CCP scope.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Previous EMT experience.
• Current Paramedic license and Critical Care Paramedic certification/licensure (state specific).
• In states without mandatory Critical Care Transport requirements, must hold and maintain national board certification as a Critical Care Paramedic (e.g., CCP-C from IBSC or equivalent).
• Current CPR.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal skills and emotional stability.

Responsibilities

• Primary duty is administering life support treatments within the Critical Care Paramedic scope.
• Safely operating and maintaining emergency vehicles in compliance with laws.
• Delivering competent patient care in various settings.
• Applying EMS procedures in practical situations.

• Maintaining equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and restocking supplies.

• Maintain clear and consistent communications with the Dispatch Center.
• May be required to administer first aid to injured coworkers when necessary.
