Qualifications

• Texas Paramedic License (required)
• Certified Critical Care certification
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record
• FEMA ICS 100/200/700/800 certifications
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Tech-savvy or comfortable with technology
• Able to work effectively in a team
• Successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow Paramedics, EMTs and management to ensure top-tier patient care.
• Remain flexible due to 24-hour operations; shifts may vary.
• Stay up to date with standards of care, equipment use and state/protocol requirements.
• Provide high-quality medical transport to facilities and hospitals per policies.
• Maintain rig cleanliness and organize workspace.
• Gather patient billing information and obtain signatures.
• Prepare and submit pre-hospital patient care reports.
• Respond promptly to Dispatch Center assignments.
• Must lift/push/pull 125 lbs or more.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
