Job summary

MMT Ambulance is seeking a Critical Care Paramedic in Northern Virginia to join our EMS team. The role focuses on delivering advanced life support during interfacility transports and on-scene responses, with emphasis on safe vehicle operation and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Previous EMT experience.
• Current Paramedic license and Critical Care Paramedic certification/licensure (state specific).
• In states without mandatory Critical Care Transport requirements, must hold and maintain national board certification as a Critical Care Paramedic (e.g., CCP-C from IBSC or equivalent).
• Current CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and medical transport.
• Administer life support treatments within CCP scope.
• Operate and maintain emergency vehicles safely.
• Document information accurately in charting system.
