Openings in multiple locations including Oshkosh, Kaukauna, Fond Du Lac, Menomonee Falls, Green Bay, Fitchburg, Milwaukee, Mount Pleasant, Janesville, Oak Creek, and Elkhorn.

Superior Ambulance Service, established in 1959, is the largest independent, locally owned emergency medical services provider in the Midwest, with over 2,500 licensed EMTs, Paramedics, and Nurses, operating more than 500 ambulances across Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The company also offers Critical Care, helicopter, and fixed-wing emergency transportation.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality care during transport under medical direction and in accordance with policies and protocols.
2. Evaluate critically ill or injured patients of all ages, provide interventions, and prepare for transport.
3. Collaborate with team members and healthcare partners.
4. Assess patient status and proactively address problems.
5. Organize equipment and supplies for emergency use.
6. Maintain accurate records and participate in quality assurance programs.
7. Maintain proficiency in all aspects of critical care practice.
8. Perform all physical requirements in various environmental conditions.
9. Complete transports within scheduled shifts, possibly extending beyond normal hours.
10. Participate in training and maintain certifications.
11. Ensure safety and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Entry-Level Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ALS experience
• State EMT-P License
• AHA BLS Certification
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record

Desired Qualifications:

• National Registry Paramedic
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, Trauma, FEMA, CCEMTP, FP-C or CCP-C)
• Experience with ventilators, IV pumps, and chest tubes
• Leadership experience
