MercyOne Centerville Emergency Medical Services in Centerville, IA, seeks a full-time Critical Care Paramedic. You will deliver rapid, lifesaving pre-hospital and hospital care, perform advanced airway management, medication administration, and participate in stabilization and resuscitation per protocol.
The role requires current Iowa Paramedic certification (and endorsement), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to cover 24-hour shifts on a rotating schedule; full-time (1.0 FTE), 80 hours

Delivers timely and effective critical care paramedic level emergency medical care to patients of all ages in both emergency and non-emergency situations, ensuring stabilization and/or resuscitation as needed due to illness or injury. Responds to ambulance calls, follows established system protocols and NIMS standards for scene management, and accurately document all care provided. When available, assists in the Emergency Department by performing advanced airway management, medication administration, and assists with delegated tasks such as assessments, vital signs, IV initiation, ECGs, and documentation, as well as decontamination, cleaning, and restocking of equipment.
