The Director is responsible for clinical, operational, and fiscal performance, ensuring compliance with standards of care, staffing, quality, safety, and service. Responsibilities include supporting evidence-based leadership, nursing practice, and resolving patient or physician complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead managers and frontline staff, overseeing multiple teams.
• Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Manage budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to improve operations.
• Facilitate meetings, resolve staff and physician issues, and respond to communications.
• Oversee performance improvement, policy development, and regulatory readiness.
• Mentor staff, manage human resources, and promote evidence-based practice.
• Engage in professional development and maintain effective relationships with staff and physicians.

Success Factors:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing and at least three years of critical care nursing experience.
• Current RN license in practice state.
• Completion of critical care courses and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and CPI.
• Effective communication skills in English; additional languages preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
