Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Savannah is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care to chronically ill patients in an inpatient setting. The NA will assist with bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, rounds, and moving patients as needed, while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant work experience
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Preferred: hospital experience as Nursing Assistant or related field (e.g., medical assistant)

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less methods and providing oral hygiene
• Assist with oral feeding and personal care
• Perform hourly rounds and respond to patient needs
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist during transfers
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs and other equipment
• Keep patient rooms clean and organized; manage unit stock levels
• Perform other duties as assigned
