As a Critical Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care by utilizing advanced nursing skills and evidence-based practices. In this position, you'll provide comprehensive, hands-on nursing care while actively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best patient outcomes. You'll take on leadership responsibilities, serving as a shift resource or team leader, where your expertise and decision-making skills will directly impact patient care quality. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide comprehensive patient care in alignment with core standards, policies, and evidence-based practices.
  • Manage patient assessments, care planning, implementation, evaluation, and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate to reduce patient wait times and length of stay, working closely with case management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
  • Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and inventory shortages to the Supervisor.
  • Advocate for patients and families, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Identify and address opportunities for improving patient care and outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of safety and follow infection prevention policies.
  • Contribute to cost-saving efforts through efficient use of resources and staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and patient satisfaction initiatives.
  • Mentor and train new staff, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Apply transcultural nursing principles and participate in patient education.
  • Comply with hospital policies and engage in ongoing professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education : Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree/Diploma in is required.
  • Experience : Two years of nursing experience with Bachelor’s or four years with Associate Degree/Diploma is required.ICU or Emergency Room experience preferred.
  • Licensing :
    • Valid license from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
    • Basic Life Support
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as applicable
  • Specialization : ICU or Emergency Room experience preferred.

  • Languages : Must be proficient in English. Arabic language proficiency is also a plus.
